A family’s story is about so much more than numbers and spreadsheets. So we begin every prospective relationship with a thorough exploration of your family’s five capitals: spiritual, human, intellectual, social, and financial. This deliberate, purposeful process helps determine compatibility and ensure fit.

After determining fit with our in-depth exploration of a family’s five capitals, we set out to create a bespoke office model tailored to your unique family. Our diverse, experienced team develops a framework of support aligned specifically with your family’s interests, personality, tastes, habits, and hopes. The result is a highly personalized family office within a multi-family structure that ensures stability, scalability, and longevity.

At Arlington, we know that the most precious contemporary luxury is time. That’s why a key aspect of our work with families is establishing proven systems and processes that bring order, confidence, and—ultimately—freedom. Reclaiming time for your family is Arlington’s ultimate value: more time means more meaningful relationships with each other and with the companies, communities, and causes you value most.

Our team is dedicated to equipping every member of your family with all they need for sustained success. From managing investment portfolios with an approach that is built to preserve and grow your fortunes to creating systems that focus on the perpetual health and true wellbeing of your family, we are committed to empowering your family to navigate the world confidently—both as it is today and as it will one day be.

Arlington’s original location, the John Hand Building, is a National Historic Register structure in downtown Birmingham featuring elegant lines and rich ornamentation. Arlington spreads over two deeded floors where our teams collaborate to use their collective knowledge to serve families. The experience of the space has been curated to include our core operations as well as a luxury hotel and club available to visiting client families as they work with their Arlington team to plan strategically for their family's future.
Situated in the middle of historic downtown Franklin, Tennessee, the Courtney House was originally built in 1838 and served as a Union hospital during the American Civil War. Arlington acquired this unique structure as our second location in 2019 and restored it within the specifications of the National Historic Register. The Courtney House provides a boutique experience for client families as they visit our Nashville team and enjoy the area. It also serves as a core location for our private trust company and philanthropic work.
